Following my degree in Marine Geography I worked as a ranger learning how different habitats function and how to improve and manage these for the benefit of the species that depend on them. My practical outdoor background has helped hone my identification of species and knowledge of how to enhance and protect our landscapes whilst working with its natural processes.
Having joined SRT I’m now involved in a variety of projects across the Lower Severn ranging from fish barrier assessments and in-channel improvements in the Severn Vale alongside wetland creation and farm advice in the Warwickshire Avon. I’m motivated by my passion for wildlife along with helping landowners work and farm in ways that not only benefit wildlife and restore our natural landscape, but help them achieve a sustainable future and business.
