Louise joined our Board in March 2023. Louise is an experienced and successful Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) with over 25 years of experience in a range of diverse business sectors as a senior finance professional. She is chair of the Trust’s Finance and Risk Committee.
Louise started her career in audit and subsequently moved into industry. Louise is now retired but has previously worked in a number of different industries and has experience as a senior executive leader in Food and Travel Retail, Manufacturing and Public Sector Organisations. Louise has a strong track record in financial strategy, governance and organisational transformation. Louise is now concentrating on Non-Executive and Trustee roles, she is also on the Board of a Social Housing Provider and a Sport Governing Body. She has previous board experience of Charities and not for profit organisations.
Louise lives in South Staffordshire and regularly walks and runs with her dog along the banks of the Severn which gives her a personal connection to the River. She is keen to ensure it will be healthy and vibrant for many years to come.
