I was an arborist for over 10 years, alongside studying for a degree in Countryside Management. I progressed into professional research roles within soil and water sciences. I was thrilled to join Severn Rivers Trust in 2020 as a GIS and Data Officer. I have since changed roles internally and remain pleased to be a part of this inspiring organisation. My role involves engaging with newly emerging natural capital markets to seize new opportunities that attract the funding we need for our important projects. I’m also involved in expanding our portfolio of services we can offer through Severn Rivers Ecology, the trading arm of Severn Rivers Trust. A love of the natural world drives much of what I do, both professionally and for leisure. Considering the climate and ecological emergency we face; it is important to know that I am doing something to help address these issues.
