I spent 8 Years working at Tewkesbury Borough Council in the Planning Department. Most recently as a Technical Officer, advising on Permitted Development, processing Certificate of Lawfulness and validating applications. I assist the team on various projects throughout the Severn Vale, Warwickshire Avon, and Worcestershire Middle Severn catchments. The projects include barrier removal, habitat restoration, low flow resilience and slowing the flow. Having spent time in the planning department, I wanted to give back to the natural environment and make a positive difference to nature. I enjoy fishing, birdwatching and being outdoors, so this is a great role to work in.
