Ed Noyes

Senior Fisheries Officer/PhD
Operations

Chasing fish since I could walk, my background begins with NVQs in fisheries and wildlife management. I’ve worked in various related roles all over the UK and Ireland. I’ve now spent many years in the Severn catchment, getting degrees in conservation and working in partnership with or directly for SRT. My role involves PhD research into wild Atlantic salmon conservation. In addition, I’m Severn Rivers Trust’s Senior Fisheries Officer part time. My motivation stems from being an angler. I’ve spent much time by rivers, experiencing the magic of the nature along them. I’m very passionate about restoring rivers and fish stocks, so wildlife can thrive for everyone to enjoy. Highly driven to put science behind actions!
