I’ve been enamoured with the natural world since childhood. I chased this passion through to adulthood, completing courses in Ecology and Surveying at Leeds and Oxford University. Today, I conduct professional surveys for plants, habitats, bats, reptiles and birds. For the last five years I’ve worked for different consultancies across England on projects involving Biodiversity Net Gain, species surveys, habitat mapping and developing long-term monitoring for restoration projects.
As Ecologist for SRT, my role involves providing high-quality guidance for landowners looking to restore biodiversity.
I want to see our countryside flourishing for nature and people and am motivated to create a farmed landscape where food production and biodiversity can co-exist.
